Children's Ministry

For years, the saying in churches all around the country was "Children are the church of tomorrow." At Mancelona FMC, we ask, "Why can't children be the church of today?" Children are encouraged to come and be a part of our church community, and we have opportunities open for them to come and have a good time in an environment specifically tailored to their needs. On Sunday mornings, we offer a children's Sunday School class at 9:45 a.m. and dedicate a portion of our worship service (11:00 a.m.) to them through a specialized children's sermon. On Thursday nights, we offer our Kids Club program from 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. , where children can come for an hour and enjoy snacks, games, and an age-appropriate Bible lesson. Teen Ministry

With so many distractions, worries, and responsibilities weighing down on today's teens, Mancelona FMC sees it as absolutely necessary to offer a program where teens can come and forget about their problems and turn their eyes to the comfort that can be found in Jesus. We offer a teen Sunday School class on Sundays at 9:45 a.m. and an evening youth program on Sunday nights from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Our youth programs are open to all teenagers from 6th-12th grade.
